WAHVE is a unique contract staffing talent solution that brings companies and pretiring professionals together to meet their work needs.

When WAHVE decided to redesign their website, they found a designer to create the visual but needed NST to turn that vision into reality.

The goal of the project was to create an informational site that could link their users with their back-end system.

Most projects involve 3 major phases and are developed by one company. This project however required collaboration with WAHVE’s graphic design team to transform their out of date website portal to the new age interface with growth potential.
The interface had to work simply and function easily to cater to WAHVE’S target demographic.
The site has to solve many of the problems of their existing site did not such as, responsiveness, flexibility and scalability.

Lastly, WAHVE was looking for that WOW factor, which would require subtle animation, large visuals, graphical interfaces and integrated video.

NST worked closely with the design team to come together on what would and wouldn’t work best for today’s web technology.

We selected WordPress for it’s ease of use, flexibility and growth potential.

One of the challenges we faced was to create a unique vertical menu with sub-menu toggling.
The other was a page transition effect. This was no small feat and required custom coding to accomplish.

Of the more difficult issue faced, responsive design for desktop had to be near the top of the list.

The Design aesthetics were very nice on a large screen but the standard grid responsiveness could not be used due to the vertical navigation structure. Again we turned to our talented development team to create custom CSS to solve this issue.

Among the other issue we handled was incorporating a custom admin interface to allow WAHVE’s data managers to refresh the every changing data.
The interface allowed WAHVE to easily add to their business model by expanding their offerings to Accounting and HR professionals.
